The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.

Wild Wind Cottage - On Robinson River Trout Stream

Our cabin, built in the early 1900s was the local one room schoolhouse. Converted from its days of desks and pencils, it sleeps six and has one bedroom with queen bed, one annex bedroom with two bunk beds and also two bunk beds to the side of the living area. Tech UNPLUGGED. That’s the way it is in our valley. No cell, little Internet. For basic not streaming connection, please come to our Lodge, 2 miles upstream or to our the local village mercantile. Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate one or two dogs with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).
