Trillium Cottage at Lake Santeetlah

Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

This newly renovated lake front home with a hot tub is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Large windows and multiple lake front decks give way to the beautiful views of Lake Santeetlah and the Nantahala National Forest. The lake is open to boating and offers great fishing. Boat rentals are available across the lake. The property is located off Hwy 129 in close proximity to many of the areas scenic routes including: Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

The Bothy - 28 acre private retreat

This custom designed, modern cabin is made for connecting with nature in comfort. The cabin sits by itself on 28 private acres with meadows, forest, a small creek, and trails. You have privacy and space to wander and are still just 15 minutes to town, 10 minutes to Lake Santeetlah, and 1 mile off the Cherohala Skyway. A Bothy is a Scottish term for a small simple farm building that travelers can shelter in. The cabin and land are a perfect place to relax in the Appalachian mountains.

Easy access makes this an ideal getaway for car and motorcycle enthusiasts to cruise the nearby scenic highways including Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, and many more. Adventurers can explore nearby waterfalls, lakes, and hiking trails. Enjoy quiet surroundings, go fly fishing in Sweetwater Creek, and take in the cool mountain air on the covered porch or gather around the firepit.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Dragon's Tail Vacation Rental

Walk to restaurants, coffee shop/bar(KinCafe), grocery store, everything you need! Dragon's Tail Vacation Rental is the perfect home for your stay in Robbinsville. It is centrally located in town! The famous Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, beautiful Lake Santeetlah, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake, Bryson City , Nantahala, Harris Cherokee and Valley River Casinos are all just a short drive (30-45 min.).

Firefly- A cozy mountain getaway

Step into nature’s paradise! Watch the fireflies while listening to the babbling creek from the screened in porch. Firefly, a 2 bedroom house tucked in the woods, is near Fontana and Lake Santeetlah. It’s a short drive to the the Smoky Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. The house is located 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail. WE NOW HAVE WIFI!!! No RVs allowed.

Large Private Home on Wooded Acreage

The Harvest House is a large 2-story home on acreage, with 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms. Additionally, there is an area with twin beds for extra sleeping space. The home accommodates 8-10 people comfortably in beds. In addition, there is floor space for extra sleeping. Enjoy the full service kitchen, screened back porch, creek, and wifi. There is no cable tv, however there are wifi and the TVs with HDMI ports.

The Mountain View Cabin

This cozy 3 BR, 1.5 BA rustic mountain cabin is ideal for your family getaway, a special retreat with friends, or simply a night's break from the monotony of the road. This cabin is nestled in a private mountain cove on 16 peaceful acres but only 3 miles to Highway 143 and the Cherohala Skyway. Enjoy the mountains from a huge back deck with tables and chairs to accommodate friends and family.
