'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

Romantic Getaway - The Caboose

Romantic Getaway. The Caboose is a handcrafted replica of a train carriage, with a small private garden. Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. The outdoor shower, bath and toilet are all in the private garden that can be accessed with stairs from the side of the balcony of The Caboose. Full cell phone coverage.

Take a walk up to your own private yoga deck, under a canopy of Manuka trees and take in the lovely view of the farm and beyond. Karaka is a 2 bedroom cottage with decks and a verandah with wonderful views of the Waimea Inlet and mountains beyond. The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+

The Cabin is a peaceful hideaway nestled in a bamboo garden, giving it privacy and serenity. Enjoy beautiful sea views from the lounge and deck. Take a stroll through 4ha of gardens and sample fruits from our organic orchard.

Fabulous architecturally designed home available for families, couples and even furry friends. Less than 200 metres walk down to picturesque Dummy Bay with its beautiful golden sands; approximately 700 metres to Little Kaiteriteri beach; and approximately 1.4 km to the main Kaiteriteri beach. Wonderful views and pet friendly.
