Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Hidden Bay is aptly named as it is nestled in a water lily-filled bay with a beautiful west-facing island view. It feels private without being completely secluded. The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! This cozy apt is the lower level of a ranch house, off hwy 13 in Glidden. 4 rooms - a big bedrm w/ king & single beds, kitchenette with a table, refrig, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, coffee supplies and elect. skillet. The big bathrm has a large shower, & the "Garage Bar" (Aviation theme) is "Harry's Hangar." Walk downtown to the Bear Crossing Conven. Store, bakery, bars etc. Great location for snowmobiling, one block from snowmobile trail & 4 wheeling. Near Copper Falls, Apostle Islands

Our North Woods Getaway

Modern home with all the amenities including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Very comfortable and relaxing. With Satellite TV and WIFI. Set on 2 acres in the Flambeau Forest with a screen room to enjoy the peace and quite of the outdoors. ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail is 1/8 of a mile from the front door. Also a 1/4 mile from the Flambeau ski trail. The North Fork of the Flambeau river is one mile away with great canoeing and Kayaking. There are 2 Walleye lakes at the end of the road.

Come stay on our hobby farm with us! We are in a great central location to multiple hiking trails and gorgeous falls. We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.
