Conewago Cabin - Near Gettysburg!

Rustic, cozy one-room apartment down a long lane on the Conewago river. The apartment is attached to the house but has its own entrance without going through the main house. Private bathroom and shower included. PLEASE NOTE: There are several steps in the cabin going down into the kitchen, up into the living room, and down into the bedroom nook. The floor of the bathroom is not completely even. This cabin may not be suitable for senior citizens or those who have problems with mobility.

Cabin is very charming, but rustic. Kitchen has full size frig, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, toaster+ keurig. Coffee, condiments, soap & shampoo provided. There is a gas grill. Guests provide their qs sheets, towels, campfire wood & drinking water. A variety of dvd’s & games, hot water in & outside shower & tub. Tubes for floating provided, swim your own risk. Fire pit, creek is stocked. Steps to deck overlooking the creek.Trash goes home with guests, smoking on the decks only.

Weddings and events for up to 50 ppl are allowed only with authorization. We also offer special event decorating / staging and catering. Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin

The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.

Conewago Cabin #3 (No Cleaning Fee!)

All are welcome in our cozy 1 Bedroom plus loft Cabin #3 along the Conewago Creek. Peaceful and relaxing, & the creek is just a step away and is great for splashing around in the summer to cool off. No smoking. Fully equipped kitchen & Washer and Dryer. Carport parking space. Pets are welcome. All pets must be disclosed prior to check in. We charge a $20 pet fee. Two pets maximum please.
