The cottage has 2 BDRMS w queen beds and a daybed to sleep 5 total. The newly renovated bath offers a shower/tub combo. Dutchway Grocery store & Restaurant is just around the corner. The Welsh Mountain Cottage is located in Lancaster County on seven acres of wooded land. Amish neighborhood uniquely remote and peaceful. 8 minute drive to the famous Shady Maple Smorgasbord Restaurant. 15 minutes to the popular town of Intercourse with its many tourist shops. Back deck is a very private setting with charcoal grill. The cottage is a quiet setting with the exception of gun shots that can be heard from a shooting range that is approximately 1/2 mile from the cottage.

A cozy family getaway. While staying here, you will get to live in this historic stone home with a beautiful log addition. The original structure was built in the 1700s and served as the servant's quarters for the stone house across the road where your hosts now live. Set out in the country, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the woods, fields, and buggies going by on the road. The house is set close to the road, so traffic can be heard at times.
