The guesthouse sits tucked back in the woods next door to our home, offering privacy and quiet once you arrive. The surrounding area is rural and unpolished - but the property itself is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully maintained. Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm EST. We do not allow check-ins after 11:00 pm. This property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who is unsteady on their feet. No smoking, e-cigs, or vaping permitted in the cottage or on the property.

Come visit a cozy cottage facing a lake. Hosts live next door. Inside, enjoy a fully equip kitchen with pots & pans, plates, silverware, and a Keurig coffee pot. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one DOUBLE bed (not two queen beds) with extra sheets and towels if needed. Outside, a charming seating area overlooks the water. This is cozy cottage is not a venue for parties or events, rather a place to rest and relax.

Talquin Tranquility - 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms Waterfront Home (Sleeps 6 plus sofa bed) Enjoy year-round activities at this peaceful lakeside cottage, well maintained and immaculately clean, with a bulk-headed waterfront and boat house to protect your boat. Always ready for short weekend stays or longer fishing expeditions. Small Dogs are allowed with prior permission, but a refundable pet deposit of $100 is required.

These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile! We are near Tallahassee but in a rural area, down a bumpy dirt road, but we promise the trip is worth it. Kayaking and hiking right off the property, plus beautiful sunsets on the lake.
