The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! The Gallery @ Smugglers Cove

The Gallery is the front unit and commonly referred to as "glamping." The 120 year old room can smell musty and the sewer line is affected by the tides. These issues can be remedied by opening the door for a few minutes and flushing the toilet. Slight inconveniences and only occur during longer lapses between guests. Once remedied, they are gone. Also, The Gallery has a half bath and the full bath is in the hall. You can lock both hall doors that lead to the outside. EXTREMELY rustic yet fun!!
