Η Περαία απέχει 23 χλμ από το κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης και η μετάβαση γίνεται με αυτοκίνητο και το καλοκαίρι με καραβάκι. Heritage & Tales: Sihna

Το "Sihna" είναι εμπνευσμένο από το έθιμο της γιορτής των Σίχνων που τελείται στο Λιτόχωρο ανήμερα των Θεοφανείων. Έχει τις ρίζες του στο Βυζάντιο και συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα. Τα Σίχνα είναι ψηλά κοντάρια με ασημένιο ή χρυσό σταυρό στην κορυφή, που φέρουν πολύχρωμες σημαίες. Πρόκειται για αφιερώματα συντεχνιών και ναυτικών οικογενειών, τα οποία συμμετέχουν με καθορισμένη ιεροτελεστία στον καθαγιασμό των υδάτων στο Λιτόχωρο. You can go in some of beaches such as Paralia and Olympic by bus. The Park of Katerini (Parko Katerinis) is just 10 min walking and it is a must visit place.
