Welcome to Deer Hideout Retreat! We are located in Palmyra, Virginia, on two acres of land. There's an abundance to see and to do around here, and we hope you choose our home for your stay. We are far enough outside of the city to enjoy the peace and quiet, but just a short drive to all the action. We are close to Monticello, James Monroe's Highland and 28 minutes away from the city center of historic Charlottesville. There are plenty of vineyards all around us and a couple of orchards, too.

If you love the outdoors and seclusion, Hooper's Rock Farm is for you. 1.5 miles of James River frontage in Cumberland Co, VA, 30-acre private lake, and 650 acres of fields, woods, and hills to explore and hike. Two living areas - one with large stone fireplace. Full kitchen. Screened porch overlooking lake. Sat TV. 2 John boats with trolling motors available for bass and crappie fishing in the lake. Entrance is 1 mile from public boat landing for James River access. Near many VA vineyards.

Quiet, rural setting in neighborhood culdesac. Located off Rt 53, approx 15 mins from Monticello & FUMA. Basement of home, w/private entrance is a 1000 square foot apartment with a large full bathroom, large bedroom with 2 Queen size beds, open floor plan with living, dining area and kitchen. Space includes a large screened in porch w/ bed swing, patio area & swimming pool. No diving - deep end 6ft. View of woods on back of property w/ sunrise through the trees in morning. Lovely retreat.

Peaceful Meadows “Home away from home”

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. For some peaceful moments you can take a short stroll on the trails around the property. You can enjoy a peaceful day of fishing at the pond which is well stocked with crappie, bass, shell cracker, and catfish. We practice catch and release here on the property. But if you want to cook up the catch of the day as the main course that’s ok as well. Then kick back and sit around the camp fire with s’mores and looking at the moonlight.

Nestled on the banks of the Rivanna River, this is a TRUE treehouse, suspended in a grove of Sycamore and Poplar trees. Panoramic windows, high end furnishings and every comfort you're looking for. Sit outside on the wrap-around porch, surrounded by leaves. We're sure you'll have an incredible stay!

Private Forest Camper Retreat

Enchanted forest retreat with tree swing, epic outdoor space, and a comfortable, clean RV! Site is known as "Hummingbird" on the map. See photos for all included amenities & browse our rental add-ons if you need extra tents, sleeping pads, water, etc. 15 minute walk to camp (mostly flat except beginning of trail) OR drive there with 4WD. *If it's dry, 2WD vehicles will make it (ask if unsure). Expect mud, bumps, scratches, & tight turns as you drive through the forest!

Black Cat Retreat

Private entrance. upstairs, Lots of light, Wrap around deck! Full private bath in room. Large room with a small kitchenette. Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker a kitchen sink and induction burner to cook on. Also washer and dryer in the room. Upon your arrival there will be Banana Nut Bread, fruit & filtered water. All cotton sheets on the queen size bed (plus for the full size air mattress in room.) Cotton towels, shampoo, blow dryer, iron and ironing board.
