Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

The Shepherd Hut at The Old Police House

A traditional bespoke Shepherd Hut in a semi rural location. The hut is positioned a few steps from the Llangollen canal and a three min walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Offas Dyke runs along the towpath .There are two excellent pubs a few minutes walk, post office ,pizza takeaway and cafe. The Hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is direct access to the tow path on which you can walk for miles. I currently have a minimum 2 nights stay but may allow 1 night stay please ask

This first floor flat has been refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation is best suited to one or two guests, however, the use of a sofa bed is available for guests not wanting to share or for larger parties for a short stay. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales.
