So we will begin our class with a little introduction of the history of these traditional pastries and will answer any question you have about our city's culture. Then we will go to the beautifully bronce decorated kitchen to start our preparation. We will start preparing all the ingredients and utensils while we talk a little bit more about the culinary movement in La Paz and the specialties of the city. We will be preparing three or two (depending on the number of participants) out of five recipes that we will coordinate previously. Those include: Jawita, Llaucha, Pastel frito, Cuñape and sonso. This will also include our famous Api or Tojori.
Then we will enjoy our "Tecito" tea hour and have a nice talk so you can learn more about Bolivia and it's culture.

So this time I’ll introduce you to Carolina, she graduated from “Cordon bleu” culinary renowned worldwide, she specialized in pastry and moved to New York to work at the pastry team supplying four different restaurants, currently she’s teaching at “Los Andes University”. Myself, Alejandra worked in Paris at a private bank, lived in 5 different countries and speaks 4 languages and pastries lover. We’ve both been around the world, appreciated other cultures and learned how to value our culture more than ever. Come and find why we both left two of the most amazing cities in this world to live in La Paz and its wonders.

Our workshop is the cuisine of a famous caterer in town, Carolina's mom. The kitchen is beautifully decorated with bronce kitchenware in the center we have a big marble table where we will be able to roll out the pastry . Then once we finish we will pass to the beautifully garden or solarium depending on the weather to enjoy our preparation.
