Ką veiksite

While showing how great films were made in Berlin, we can explore film theory and storytelling structure if you ever want to make your own film. We begin at Tante Emma Café on Schlesisches Tor for an introduction and stroll to nearby Oberbaum Bridge where Tykwer filmed RUN LOLA RUN. You can run the bridge like her and I'll film, if you like.

Nearby, we see the Berlin Wall context of Donnersmarck's THE LIVES OF OTHERS, as well as Hamilton's Cold War classic FUNERAL IN BERLIN and Edel's THE BAADER MEINOF COMPLEX.

From here we go to Kreuzberg's Kottbusser Tor to show you where Wender's filmed part of WINGS OF DESIRE. The fantastic Berlin documentary LUST & SOUND IN WEST BERLIN: 1979-1989 was filmed here, too. On the way out, we'll see locations of BABYLON BERLIN.

Finally, we head to Tiergarten's Kaiser Wilhelm Cathedral war memorial a la Wings of Desire, sites which hosted Silent Film premieres, and finish at Zoo Palast, which hosts Berlinale international film fest.

(If curious, we can also cover Berlin's icons Marlene Dietrich, Billy Wilder, Fritz Lang, Lubitsch, Anita Berber, Metropolis, other highlights; locations depend on time. Babelsburg requires a separate trip.)
Other things to note
Optional: If you get a chance, go to Youtube and see the trailers for films Wings of Desire, Run Lola Run, Lives of Others, Funeral in Berlin, Babylon Berlin, and any WWII or silent film set here.
