We will be able to participate the way how to make the coffee, and knowing many different herbs that we can use to make either coffees or teas. A unique way to witness how to see, and taste the coconut wine made by the expert (a local farmer)

It was rainy and it was just me, so I was worried that this would be cancelled, but Wayan didn’t cancel. He even showed up with a rain poncho for me. Very thoughtful impression. Since it was just me and him. I hopped onto the motorbike and we headed to our first stop for coffee. En route we had a fun conversation about our coffee rituals. The place we arrived had a nice sort tour/demo of how they prep/grind the coffee. Later we were shown to a platform openin overlooking the rice terraces where we could enjoy our luwak coffee along with a complimentary tea tasting. Wayan talked to me about Bali (history, culture, spirituality). After an hour of two here, we rode to the next place near his village. It was a great route through rice fields that you’d never get to on your own, unless you’re mindlessly riding around and happen to ride into this area. It was just in time for sunset, and a perfect time for making good pictures. We walked to the “bar” and found the “bartender.” A very down to earth place, where locals come by to pick up some palm or coco wine. The bartender climbed up and down his trees to check on the brews up there. We enjoyed our drinks as the sunset and then he dropped me off back at the guesthouse I had booked. Overall, I had a great time. Definitely would do this again.

Words can’t even describe how amazing and unique this tour was!! Wayan was an incredible host and went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. He also had the best stories and knowledge of Bali/coco wine/the local culture.

This experience was truly once in a lifetime. I can’t say enough good things about our host and our day. It was incredible - he picked us up from our boat back, drove us to Ubud, and showed us a great coffee farm. That part was great, we were thinking a normal tourist could find it, then we were blown away by how the second part was the complete opposite - not toursity whatsoever. We trekked over a mile through our host’s home village and got to the “local bar” and had incredible coco wine - hand picked from a super tall palm tree. Many locals joined us and we bonded with people we would have never met outside of this. Thank you so much for showing us the real people and culture of Ubud! We couldn’t have experienced this life-changing day without you!

Had an incredible experience with Wayan. He picked me up at the Tegallalang Rice Terrace (where I had spent some time before the tour) and we started with a nice tea and coffee tasting. Afterwards we drove to a rice field close to Wayan's home, but far away from any tourist sites and busy streets. He shared a lot of interesting information while we were watching the sunset and waiting for the guy who collects the coconut wine from the top of several palm trees every evening. That was truly fun to watch (and took only a few minutes). By that time many local people had arrived and we all shared the wine which was delicious...

This experience was more than I and my friends had hoped for. The coffee tasting was amazing, all very good quality, the history and facts about all the different plants and processes for coffee making was very well explained. My friends and I learned so much all the while having a very good time. We got to ride on the jungle swing as well, which definitely added to the experience. And after the coffee we got to take home some uniquely made coconut wine, which was extremely good. Overall, very happy with this experience, highly recommended. Thank you Wayan and Oka! :)

It was a memorable experience. June speaks great English and is a passionate proud Balinese. We talked about culture religion and traditions of Bali and Indonesia. I learnt a lot. The trip was unique, trekking through the farm fields for natural coconut wine? Quite something eh. The rice fields was beautiful. The man who harvested coconut wine was an expert. It was an eye opening experience. Also June helped us arranged transportation to Lovina after the experience which was such a big help.
