In this cooking experience, you can make flavorful home-made ramen with plant-based soup. It seems to need something special ingredients or take time and effort to make Ramen. It is not true. My recipe is easy to make using easy-to-find ingredients and some proper condiments. If you follow some cooking tips, you’ll be able to taste amazing ramen easily.

The soup is rich flavor and spicy, noodles are soft and smooth. But you don’t have to simmer animal’s bone for several hours to make the broth, you don’t have to knead the dough to make Ramen noodles.

A feast for the eyes and the stomach, it's also high nutritious. I’m sure even non vegan can be satisfy with this ramen! In between cooking, you can also learn easy origami which is the art of Japanese paper folding, we’ll make a paper fan for chopstick rest.

Hi, I’m Yukari living in Kyoto, Japan. I’ve been offering Japanese cooking class in my private kitchen since 2019 and taught more than 200 guests from all over the world. I’m also hosting the cooking experience “The Vegan Plate based on Shojin ryori” in Airbnb. Shojin ryori is a form of traditional Zen cooking, without using any animal products. It’s a really healthy style and sustainable way of cooking, a good option for vegans and vegetarians.

I used to be a magazine writer covering local cuisine and food culture of Kyoto. I interviewed many chefs, experts and learned a lot of things from them. These experiences helped me to create Japanese authentic food and spurred me to teach people outside of Japan. My mission lies in teaching how easy to make Japanese home cooking. Yukari is a great host! She explained very well. The cooking experience was so relaxing and fun. My vegan ramen came out so delicious! Once I tasted it, I couldn’t believe it’s vegan! The broth is so flavorful. Highly recommended.
