It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Located right by the sea. 12 min from the airport, 14 min from Northern Norway's largest shopping center and 20 min from the city. Great convenience store 4 min away. No street lights, no traffic, no asphalt. Welcome!

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. A large cottage with plenty room for 6. The kitchen have enough pots, pans dishes etc to cook for everyone. We do our best to maintain it clean and tidy. Sat in beautiful surroundings, close to the sea and the mountains. Peaceful with a stunning view. Close to Tromsø, but still rural for a experience of the landscape of the north.
