Westwood Golf course is 8 miles away, Copper Falls near Mellen, with waterfalls & hiking, and Minocqua is less than an hour northeast. Winter months, we have pristine snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing & snowshoe trails.

Charming Cottage on Wilson Lake

With a queen bedroom, sitting room/guest room with a futon and cable tv, bathroom with shower, and a complete kitchen, it is a cozy retreat for a couple or single traveler looking for privacy and relaxation. The cottage is located on Wilson Lake, part of Phillips Chain of Lakes. There is a small beach area with a wonderful fire pit with free fire wood, picnic bench and swim raft located on the property. We offer use of our Canoes, Kayaks and a paddle board free of charge to all guests.

The Oxbo Resort is located along the shores of the Flambeau River, in the heart of the Flambeau River State Forest, and is adjacent to Sawyer County snowmobile and ATV trail #36. State game lands are within a short walk and a cross country ski trail is less than 2 miles away. Check in after 3pm. Well behaved dogs allowed for a nominal per dog per visit charge.
