'The Nevis' has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay. 'The Nevis' is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a self contained kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage for that long stay. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. Our bungalow is a modern attachment (originally the garage!) to a 1926 suburban villa designed by William Beresford Inglis, Glasgow School of Art student from 1903-5 during the Macintosh period, and the architect of the Beresford Hotel - the iconic art deco 'skyscraper' on Sauchiehall Street and city cinemas. Situated in an elegant leafy suburb with excellent transport links (15 mins walk+15mins train) into downtown Glasgow. Bearsden village is ~10 mins walk to cafes, shops, bars and eateries.

The apartment is situated a short distance to the south of Clydebank town centre.
