Golfing, boating, skiing, snow tubing, hiking, wine tasting, distilleries, breweries are no more than 10 minutes away. Plus seasonal access to the indoor / outdoor pool at the Lakeview Hotel, which is only a 7 minute drive away.

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

Private Hot Tub Northern Tiny Home Retreat

Get cozy and settle into this rustic yet refined space. This is a brand new, finished in June 2023 tiny home, on the same property as our personal home. It has all the comforts of a full size home, including, radiant heated floors, A/C, vaulted ceilings in the bedroom, two burner gas stove and a full size fridge. There is a private fenced in outdoor courtyard, with private hot tub, fire place and propane grill. As well as its own driveway with plenty of room too park a boat if you'd like.

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Minutes to Shanty Creek golf, Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire, and Short's Brewing downtown. Perfect for families, ski trips, golf weekends, and friend reunions in the trees.

Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.

Chalet at Shanty Creek is located on a quiet road. The chalet is surrounded by tall trees. Downtown Bellaire with great shopping, food, and beer is minutes away. Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Trailhead with over 30 miles of action adventure fun is min away. Centrally located to northern michigan treasures: Torch Lake: 20 min drive Elk Rapids: 40 min drive Charlevoix and Boyne: 50 min drive Traverse City and Petoskey : 1 hour drive

My place is close to Lake Bellaire and has the use of private beach, Torch Lake is nearby, Traverse City (30 min), many great golf courses, skiing in winter (Schuss Mountain), mountain biking (Glacial Hills), Shorts Brewery, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the views (stream behind condo), the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).

Originally built in 1995, this a-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today.
