Welcome to The Beechworth Conservatory! The c1855 Country House is set on the private grounds of the old Newtown grocers, which has now been turned into a multifunctional venue by local design partners Megan & Ollie. The accomodation in the shopkeeper's residence has been lovingly restored complete with original heritage features. Situated midway between Melbourne and Sydney it is ideal stop over. Ideally located to the snow, wineries, gourme region, lakes or for just chilling. This is a lovely property located in a quiet court. It backs onto the Ovens River so the views are amazing with natural bush land which is seen through the lounge room and dining room windows. It has an open fireplace and ducted heating. In the main bathroom there is a bath spa. There are bikes to use on the scenic tracks along the river. If you're looking for a peaceful environment and like restaurants, cafes, hotels and shopping but still want the bush setting, this may suit you.
