"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows and lots of fresh air and natural light.

In the winter snow shoe and cross country ski at the state park, ski at Stevens Pass 20 miles away and head to Leavenworth for a slice of Bavaria. Have dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants or stay in and take advantage of the well-stocked kitchen with induction range. It's a peaceful, laid-back gathering place.

The IvyWild - Apartment in Tudor Historic Home

A few years ago, I operated a bed and breakfast in this historically registered Tudor home. With our growing family it became too much to manage. Since we love hosting we decided to remodel our spacious basement apartment. It is fully furnished and super cozy. The apartment has its own entrance and lots of parking and even a private outdoor patio area. We are in the central part of town and close to the main street, the market and the Columbia River loop trail.
