Only 3 miles to Davis, 12 to Canaan Valley. Enjoy the outdoors, you'll love it here in our quaint town-biking,hiking,kayaking,fishing,golfing,sledding/skiing. Did I mention it is peaceful? Our tiny little cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking for a remote getaway with beautiful sites, some fabulous fishing, or riding your side by side through the mountains, this place is in the heart of it. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

You'll be 25 minutes from the Wisp resort at Deep Creek Lake and less than 5 minutes outside of the town of Oakland with the historic B&O railroad museum.

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
