Just 7 minute drive to Invermere!

Two bedroom, private, open concept suite in a newly renovated heritage house. Located downtown Nakusp, 2 blocks from restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront promenade. Kootenay Nile Guest Suite is a family friendly, artist designed space. Whether you’re utilizing us as a jumping off point for local mountain adventures like biking at the Mt. Abriel trail system, back country and X-country skiing, or a multi-venue natural and man-made hotsprings tour, you’ll love returning home to comfy beds.

Sun Beam Retreat

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Situated on Kootenay lake, our suites provide travelers with a choice between two unique and beautiful accommodations. Both suites are spacious and feature incredible lake and mountain views, private decks, fully equipped kitchens, and private access to a secluded beach. NOTE: A reservation is now required to access the hot springs, please check their website for further information. We are separate from the resort. Located just a five minute walk from Kinsmen beach close to the downtown district, our lower level suite is perfect for those vacationers wanting to take in all that our beautiful mountain town has to offer.
