The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Our condo is located in the quaint little town of Cedar Key on the Gulf of Mexico. Cedar Key has lots to offer. Fishing. Boating. Shopping. Restaurants. Art boutiques. Small sunny islands that can be accessed by boats and kayaks. Our condo has a pool and hot tub and a boat wash area. There is a private dock on the intercostal that when the tide is right you can pull your boat right up to. Also Fish cleaning station. We have a BBQ grill and picnic tables available on the property.
