Make the KenMar Cabin at Mountain Dell your home base and enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer. Located in a rural residential area with a scattering of farms, yet only ten minutes from shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville. Within an easy drive of hundreds of miles of hiking and 40 minutes from Asheville or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there is plenty to do. For those who want to do less, you can sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.

High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Come expecting simplicity and refreshing stay in the wooded landscape of WNC.

Only miles from Cataloochee Ski area and valley (elk!). This is the perfect home base for exploring Pisgah National Forest, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Nantahala and Smoky Mountains National Park. Cozy up in our newly renovated 1940’s creek side cabin. The back yard over looks Pisgah National Forest! Hike from the neighborhood trail into Pisgah, or drive 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. At our little white house, you’ll be able to gaze at the twinkling constellations while enjoying the fire pit, sit on the back porch and admire the Blue Ridge Parkway in the distance while listening to the creek, and live side by side with our farm’s prize-winning Brown Swiss cattle. *Please note the fireplace is not operational.
