Looking forward to a ideal country cabin or relax in the beautifully lit claw foot tub or roast some delicious marshmallows next to the large rock fireplace located in the living room. It is amazing but the sleeping quarters are located up a flight of stairs if you have any disabilities that prevent stairs the cabin is not ideal.

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of an historic, 1898, Dexter home. While a studio floor plan, it offers a queen bed, living room area, a small bathroom and a kitchenette. There is a smart TV, internet, a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The decor is a warm, cottage theme that is changed with the seasons. A small porch offers outdoor seating for 2. Within minutes from Peoples Creek and Sundowner Marina. We have plenty of space to park a boat and vehicle. The Camp is approximately 8 miles away, if you’re in the area to catch a live band. There is a Dollar General close by and a variety of restaurants within the Wappapello area to enjoy!

Our lodge sits just up over the hill from our family home on our 60 acres. Secluded yet just three minutes from Walmart and town. Our private drive comes to a V and you will veer left up a gravel lane to the lodge at the top of the hill. The wrap around deck, fire pit and grills/cookers allow for plenty of outside entertainment. We enjoy nothing better than to watch the sun go up or down from the deck.
