Sitting on a country road in the heart of Smithonia, you're minutes from Watson Mill State Park, 2 of Georgia's historic covered bridges, Smithonia Farm & Events, and only 25 min from downtown Athens or UGA stadium. Perfect country getaway with front porch swing and rocking chairs; complemented with horseshoe pits, corn hole, and Adirondacks around a fire pit in the back. All surrounded by string lights.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

I designed and built this custom shipping container getaway for you to have a unique place to stay, relax and enjoy yourself in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. This is as close to nature as you can get (without having to go into it, lol). Nestled in a secluded spot minutes away from wineries, tons of outdoor activities and downtown Dahlonega, you'll have something to do for your entire stay! So come relax by the fire pit, in the hot tub, or somewhere on the 1000+ sq. ft. decks.

River Bottom Bungalow

Pamper yourself with a very private Bungalow in the peaceful woods of west Athens (approx. 15 min from UGA). This newly renovated SPA-like space is a haven for wellness and relaxation. Situated on the Oconee River in the lovely River Bottom neighborhood, you'll enjoy the rejuvenating benefits of your own private custom-built cedar sauna, spacious marble shower, outdoor Jacuzzi, king bed & more. The Bungalow is part of the main house with a separate, PRIVATE entrance through the backyard.

Relax at the MartInn, a newly renovated guesthouse only 20 minutes from downtown Athens, Ga. This one bedroom guesthouse is situated on a peaceful, wooded lot. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, and then scramble some farm fresh eggs provided by the host’s chickens. The guesthouse is within 10-15 minutes of the Firefly Bike Trail, the North Oconee River Greenway, and Watson Milll Bridge State Park. Also nearby is the Broad River Outpost to rent kayaks for a float down the Broad River.

Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our remodeled taxidermy turned cabin has two bedrooms and one full bath. Both bedrooms have closets. We have a full kitchen. The living room has a 50'' tv with digital channels and Hulu. WIFI is excellent throughout the entire cabin. You'll have access to Beaverdam Creek by walking down the driveway. *We will allow longer stays to guests who need to stay for work trips on a case by case basis.
