Built in 2019, Knockmore's Lakeside 1 offers clean, modern appeal in an airy, open concept layout. So popular was Lakeside 1, in 2024, we openeded Lakeside 2, almost identical and about 100 feet away from its sister cabin, it, too, offers a wonderful covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. Reservations are currently available for 2+ nights.

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Nearby amenities include Coffee Shops, Groceries and NSLC. North Sydney and Sydney both a short drive. Enjoy world class restaurants serving fresh seafood all year round.

Driftwood Cottage, Gateway to the Cabot Trail.

The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, pull out couch, washer, dryer, SmartTV, wifi, kitchen with a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffer maker and a BBQ. A beautiful view of Ann's Bay. Beach access at the Community Hall minutes up the street. Just a minute away from the Englishtown Ferry to the Cabot Trail. In the middle of it all 20 mins to Baddeck, 25 mins to North Sydney and 40 mins to Ingonish and Cape Breton Highlands National park.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Explorer's Cottage provides a country experience on 150 wooded acres, with a private beach, a botanical park-like forest, bird watching, an orchard, a Japanese meditation garden, library, paved pathways, and a hiking path, all with a refined interior. Included: WiFi, coffee beans and tea, charcoal and propane bbqs, firewood, tv, fishing gear, + canoe. 4.5 star rating by Canada Select. Leaving the cottage empty for three days in between bookings for guest health and safety.

Welcome to our 9 acre private lot sitting up on a hill over looking the beautiful Mira River. Enjoy the open concept cottage with spacious bedrooms and large kitchen. A short walk down the hill takes you to your own private beach on the Mira River to swim in the day and enjoy a bon fire at night. The spacious deck has a large hot tub and chairs to enjoy the views. The property also has its own 1km hiking trail that circles the property.
