My brand new ‘barndominium’ is a lovely retreat! Two horses and two mini donkeys live on the property. You will see wild turkeys, deer, bald eagles, and otters. Enjoy the nature trails that wind through the woods, sit on the beach, swim in the river, or kayak down Newbegun Creek into the beautiful, fresh water Pasquotank River. Peace and quiet abound on this private, 58 acre farm. Located 15 minutes from beautiful downtown Elizabeth City, where you will find shopping, museums, and fine dining.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis at the mouth of the Perquiman’s River on the Albemarle Sound away from all the hustle and bustle. Relax on the large dock, paddle board, kayak, fish, or just float the day away in the shallow water - a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature’s beauty! When the sun goes down challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong, darts, or shuffleboard, and roast some marshmallows outside over the fire.

Better at the Bay

Relax and unwind at this tranquil, 10 acre location on Tulls Bay just 50 min. to Virginia Beach or the Outer Banks. With full water views greet the sunrise with coffee or toast the day at sunset. Lounge on the dock, explore the bay on kayaks, canoe, or paddle board; go fishing, crabbing, or just float on the bay. Walk down the winding path among the growing pines. And take in the wildlife, including seagulls, heron, and bald eagles. You won't want to leave!

Cozy Country Cottage

Three bedrooms, 1 bathroom house located about 45 miles to the beach, rather Outer Banks or Virginia Beach. We have a private pond located on one end of the property and the creek comes up to the other end. Great for launching your canoe or kayak there. Northwest River Marsh Game lands are located nearby. There will be free use of the boat ramp about half of mile away for your bigger water toys, hunting game lands and fishing.
