Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps. Cooking is via charcoal grills, small outdoor kitchenette or fire.

This apartment has two bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen and spacious living room. Plenty of room to relax and a great location for visiting many nearby attractions.

Come and enjoy the peaceful tranquility and relaxation at the Blue Heron Lake House, 2876 West Lake Road on Gorton Lake, West Edmeston, NY. We offer an open concept efficiency apartment on the first floor with full kitchen, full bathroom, 2 beds (1 King, 1 full), TV and wifi, sitting and dining area, all with direct access to the lake. We have a whole house generator in case of a power outage.
