Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

St Anne's - The Secret Hideaway

St Anne’s is a haven of rest and relaxation on Chalice Hill, 2 mins from Chalice Well and 10 mins walk from the town centre. The location is ideal for visiting local sites such as the Tor and The Abbey. Our yurt offers a cosy and romantic stay ideal for couples with a king sized bed plus and woodburning stove with private shower room and kitchen in a nearby cabin. The yurt is not suitable for children due to woodburning stove. The Yurt is self-catering; a continental breakfast is provided.

Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

20' woodland yurt in Highland glen

Set in our small mixed woodland at West Cottage and Stables in in picturesque Glenlyon, our 20ft yurt offers complete privacy, a choice of two fire pits (one under cover) and amazing views, a wood burning range cooker with an oven, and a double bed – to mention just the essentials. The yurt is lined with wool, and there's a pull out twin bed and a kettle and toaster. There's cold water in the yurt and a full bathroom a short walk up to our house. There's also your own loo right by the yurt.

Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Lying between the picturesque North Cornwall beaches & harbours and the wild expanse of Bodmin Moor. With the South Coast just a little further afield, it's ultimately a wonderful position to explore much of what Cornwall has to offer! This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.
