De Poort is the perfect secluded off the grid getaway tucked away in the Overberg bush overlooking a beautiful dam. The cottage is located in a peaceful setting approximately 10 minutes drive outside Bredasdorp. It is also close to the coastal town of Struisbaai, wine farms and Agulhas wetlands park. It has a lovely hot fire tub. Come enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming, rowing, fishing, and horse riding, or just sit on the big porch and appreciate nature and if you lucky, you can even spot antelope

Set in Struisbaai and walking distance from Skulpiesbaai beach which is also a prime fishing spot. The beautiful fishing harbour and main beach (which is very safe for swimming and walking) is a 5 minute drive. Visit the Southernmost tip of Africa which is 7,6km and the historic Cape Agulhas lighthouse (2nd oldest operating lighthouse in SA) is 5,9km. Treat yourself in one of the many eateries in Struisbaai and Agulhas. From the balcony you have partially view of the ocean. Enjoy the sunset!

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Vineyard Cottage | Goodluck Homestead

Off-grid eco cottage situated on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains. Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, this cottage has pure spring fed water, a wood fired hot tub, solar power so is not affected by load shedding. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens We regret no babies, children or pets are allowed for safety reasons.

If its adventure or rest you want, our home could be your perfect base.

Dune Mist Cottage

Embedded in the Agulhas National Park and surrounded by the Agulhas Rest Camp, Dune Mist Cottage is located 4km from the Southernmost point of Africa in the village of Suiderstrand. Here one can experience the peace, quiet and the wildness of Africa's Southernmost Tip. A number of walks along beaches and fossilised landscapes start here. 2km from the fish traps made by old Hunter Gatherer Cultures , 3km from a shipwreck, 5km from the lighthouse. Enjoy our Duneveld Fynbos and bird life.

The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.
