Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Middle Gresham Get-a-way Your year round Getaway

We are located on Middle Gresham Lake, this is a semi private lake, very quite lake with no public access. The fishing is great. Includes use of a row boat, canoe and two kayaks, boat motor available-extra charge. Rustic cabin feel with pristine views, a fire pit for roasting marsh mellows. Centrally located between Minocqua and Boulder Junction. Please note that an invoice for Room Tax will also be sent 10 before your arrival, as Airbnb only collects Wisconsin sales tax with your reservation.

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. Private pier slip for your boat included! Cruise the Minocqua Chain of Lakes, enjoy miles of area trails or simply relax on the deck and watch the boats go by.

Newly Renovated Galley Kitchen (small, but has all the essentials). located on Island Lake, part of the desired 10 Lake Manitowish Chain. Huge fire pit behind the cabin on the ridge overlooking the lake, pier, and gas grill. Near biking trails, restaurants and shopping. It’s private yet easy to get to right off of Hwy 51. Enjoy beautiful summer sun sets and amazing wild life. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families. Weekly rentals only mid June to mid August!

There are two public boat landings and Eagle Lake Park within 1.5 miles and is also located on the snowmobile and atv/ utv trail.

A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.
