Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

We are located 8.5 miles from central Blakely, Georgia and 25 miles from central Dothan, Alabama. Tahoma Plantation, Kolomoki State Park, White Oak Pastures, Still Pine Vineyard are all close by.

Bagby State Park and Lake Eufaula have to offer!.

Pond House

Our Pond House sits on a 15-acre pond on a peninsula, complete with a boat dock and scenic views. You can enjoy the soft sounds of water and a South Georgia country evening from a screened-in porch, or watch the sunrise over nearby pastures across the water. We are pet friendly, but please be aware that there is a $75 Pet Fee for the first pet, with an additional $25/pet after. This accommodation does not offer wifi.

Nubbintown UP House Great Stay for Family or Work

Nubbintown UP House is a great family get-away for anyone looking to connect with nature. This rustic little house is a warm and inviting place to kick back and relax. Nubbintown Farms is a working farm with row crop farming and livestock. We also have a wedding venue and other homes for rent. The property has a great pond, a horse barn, and pasture full of horses that guests can enjoy.

The Pool House

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Newly renovated one bedroom, one bath pool house just minutes from historic downtown Blakely, the Early County Courthouse and the Early Medical Center, and a short drive from Farley Nuclear Plant, Georgia Pacific paper mill, Arena Training Facility, White Oak Pastures, and Kolomoki Mounds State Park.

The Osprey

The Osprey is a cozy cottage with its own private dock and is nestled along the water front of Pataula creek at Lake Walter F. George, nationally recognized for it's great fishing. Spectacular views, peaceful surroundings, evening star gazing, and deer all year long grazing in the yard. Pataula State Park is 2 miles away for very convenient boat launching.
