Designed by 1 + 2 Architects and built by VOS our home won a HIA award in 2005. Part of our brief to the architects was to design a part of the home where our guests could have complete privacy and feel spoilt . It has become a sanctuary for many people . Recently our local renowned Interior Designer has visited the apartment . The result is spectacular and calming . Quality furniture is enhanced by soft furnishings from Adairs. Professionally laundered bed linen adds to the sense of luxury.

Absorb the sunrise from your king sized bed before exploring the sights of Hobart, a ten minute drive, or the various destinations in Southern Tasmania. The studio is attached to the host's home and although you will have complete privacy, we are on site if you need anything during your stay. Parking is available on site.

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun. The vibrant cafes and coffee shops of Kingston Beach are a 5 min drive, and Blackmans Bay Beach is also a 5 min drive. Hobart CBD is only a 15-20 min drive for excellent food, theatre and entertainment. Hobart is rich with history and culture. Opportunities are endless.
