Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

There is no shortage of wildlife...deer, hawks, owls, geese, and pheasants to name a few, along with some cows and a horse grazing in the pasture out back.

Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

Lying at the border of a wild corridor, yet only 15 minutes from Missoula or the airport our cabin was skillfully crafted from giant hand-hued logs to create a sweet, delightful space. Cabin has one queen bed on main “open” floor, 2 beds in loft, (one queen and one full). Loft has a sturdy built in ladder, not suitable for toddlers or little kids. Equipped with gas cook top, refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathroom w/ shower, tv (DVD's and ROKU). Situated approximately 5 miles from the Clark Fork River, and 1 mile from public Montana Government Lands (Pontoon boats available to rent for self-guided tours, please inquire.)
