Buses going directly to Valletta, the Three Cities and the airport pass frequently close by. The house is just a couple of minutes away on foot from the Hypogeum and the Tarxien Temples. Entire House of Character “Castelinho São Marcos”

This Maltese sandstone house is more than 500 years old and dates back to the time of the Knights of St John. It was once the centrepiece of a palazzo. It is characterized by the majestic staircase with marble stairs that extend from the entrance door to the upper floors. Thanks to an internal courtyard with a skylight, the house is flooded with light. The interior was completely renovated during a 2 year conversion which took into account the Maltese characteristics & historical features.

Driftwood - Seafront House of Character

Driftwood is a 4-storey, traditional Maltese house, located in the square of Kalkara, beside the steps of the local church, in the proximity of the well sought, Three Cities. You'll enjoy the rooftop all to yourself, with deckchairs, a BBQ and a great view of the harbour and the bastions. The bus stop is just outside your door, as well as coffee shops, bakeries and take-away places. Top-notch restaurants at the Birgu Seafront and the Rinella beach are also withing walking distance.

Get on a traditional water taxi and cross over to Valletta in a few minutes whilst enjoying the imposing views of the Three Cities and Valletta.

From the outside, my yellow seems to be an ordinary, yet colourful townhouse. Upon entering you are greeted with a fantastic hallway leading to a newly furnished, stylish accommodation. Follow the hallway to the back hangout area and play some pool, cook some grub or sit and chill with a beer whilst watching sports on our huge TV with all the channels you desire. Our rooftop/terrace has an amazing jacuzzi, lounge chairs and plenty of seating where one can sit and look out to the sea.
