If you've ever wanted to experience living in a tiny home while fishing from the backyard come stay here! The second bedroom is a beautiful loft in this 6 year old 900 sq ft lakefront retreat. Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Eight mikes away in Edom Tx is Blueberry Hill Farms U-Pick Blueberries and blackberries June & July each summer. Edom is known for the Artist in our town that craft their art in their stores. Come visit Cana Cottage, a peaceful nature getaway in East Texas. Tucked away on 11+ acres of forest, this cozy cottage is conveniently located in-between Tyler and Lindale. We are just 4 miles south of I-20, and an hour and fifteen minutes in either direction from Dallas and Shreveport. Surrounded by evergreen forest, two creeks, and plenty of wildlife - Cana Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage sits about 200 feet from our main home.
