Views out to the Farne Islands where you can see countless sea birds - or stay put and watch the wildlife from the apartment. A lovely 17th century building, one of the oldest properties in Belford, that has a coffee shop below. In a friendly village only 5 miles from picturesque Bamburgh. Belford has pubs, restaurants, play parks, shops, chemist etc Very central for all attractions in Northumberland only half hour and you’re in Scotland. Near the coast with all its castles and beaches, and only 12 miles from Holy Island. Alnwick is only 14 miles away with the amazing castle and Gardens, also Barter Books.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
