Welcome to your centrally-located retreat in Midtown Tallahassee. Being 15 minutes from FSU & FAMU is a perfect distance, and about 5 minutes from TMH & HCA. This neighborhood location is quiet. Experience a peaceful stay at the Suite and Simple, a mother-in-law suite located on the right side of the home. Enjoy the privacy of your own kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance. You can sleep a total of four people comfortably with a couch futon that expands into two twin-sized beds.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique country cottage on private Turkey Pond. Deer, turkey & raptors are just some of the wildlife you may encounter. Aptly named, “The Q'Whack Shack,” our quaint lakefront home is the perfect host accommodation for a charming weekend or weeklong reprieve. Ideally situated on the heart of Lake Seminole, The Q’Whack Shack is a water enthusiasts dream hideaway. Enjoy boating, angling, an array of watersports (skiing, tubing, etc.), grade-A bass fishing and duck hunting with convenient private dock access just steps from the back door. Waterfront restaurants and other provisions just a quick boat/car ride away.

Close to everything, a million miles away....... Down the two-track driveway, past the view of the nearest neighbors, our new custom cabin awaits. Rest easy on the screened porch, with its view of the two-acre lake or cross the adjacent foot bridge to the island. Fish for bass and bream, stroll the walking path, paddle around and enjoy the wildlife, or just relax far from the madding crowd. This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

Guesthouse - Studio in the woods

The guesthouse sits tucked back in the woods next door to our home, offering privacy and quiet once you arrive. The surrounding area is rural and unpolished - but the property itself is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully maintained. Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm EST. We do not allow check-ins after 11:00 pm. This property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who is unsteady on their feet. No smoking, e-cigs, or vaping permitted in the cottage or on the property.

Spring Creek is tributary of Flint and Chattahoochee Rivers and Lake Seminole. Easily sleeps eight with queen sofa bed in Florida Room. Fire pit. Well trained pets welcome. Fenced in Back yard. Two large side yards for parking vehicles and boats. Electrical hook up also available. MONTHLY RATES ARE NEGOTIABLE.

Cozy cabin located on the Ocklocknee River inside Riverfront campground. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway. Kayak rentals are available for $50 Feel free to message for any other questions! Excellent fishing year round boat launch on property. Lake Talquin less than 5 miles away. FSU and Tallahassee are about 30 minutes away. $50.00 security deposit for unseen damage after cabin inspection if everything looks good you will get refund.

The is one of the largest houses in this area, with plenty of room for a large family or extended family. The second story has one bedroom and a big loft. The dock is large, with two covered boat slots with lifts. Seasonally, the boat dock provides good fishing. The neighborhood is safe for walks and family activities.
