1940’s Original Kintail Beach Cottage

This original cottage was built in approx. 1940 and includes a beautiful beach stone fireplace. Thoughtful renovations have been recently completed to provide comfort in an incredibly unique space. Kintail beach is about 100 steps from the cottage and you will be amazed to hear the sound of the waves from every room! The Byre is old English for 'the barn'. Our hand-built cabin comfortably sleeps two in an open concept main floor bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy field, orchard and pasture views! You'll also enjoy an indoor fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months and an outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows on summer nights! The kitchen is well suited for light cooking.
