Pet-friendly, backing onto forest trails, and near Albury/Wodonga with its shops, restaurants and cinemas, as well as historical Yackandandah and Beechworth, it's a must for those who love to walk, run, bike, ski or simply explore or relax - like us!

Backyard bungalow near hospital

Our backyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Wodonga. The bungalow is cosy with its own bathroom and private courtyard where you can either hide from the world or use it as a base to explore the region. The enclosed backyard is safe for pets and small children. Please note that our place is popular with pet owners, and although I clean thoroughly, some guests have complained about a general smell of dogs. If you are sensitive to this, you may want to consider booking elsewhere.

Central, cosy and private Wyse Cottage

Wyse Cottage was built at the turn of the 20th century and has the charm of that era combined with the comforts we expect today. The cottage is centrally located which means there will be traffic noise. It’s an easy 550 metre walk to the Botanic Gardens and many popular cafes for breakfast or lunch. You also have a great choice of restaurants in the CBD and if you travel for half an hour or so, you will find excellent cafes, wineries and restaurants in Rutherglen, Wahgunyah & Beechworth.

Perfect for those visiting for work, ideal for single travellers, two couples, a small family or a few friends meeting for a mini-break. A 5 minute walk to Dean Street where you'll find a diverse range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Ideally situated within 500 metres of the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Historic towns and villages such as Bright,Yackandandah, Beechworth, Chiltern, Milawa, Tangambalanga Tallangatta and Corryong are all within easy access. Rail trails for walking or cycling are nearby as is the Kiewa River and the Hume Weir for fishing and boating enthusiasts.

Very quiet area.
